This is a general introductory workshop to the integration techniques based on the Software AG webMethods platform. Workshop presents best practices of using webMethods Suite for creating integration interfaces, automated Business Processes and provides good overlook at possible usages of webMethods modules in different scenarios. During the workshop all attendees gain hands-on experience of all presented aspects.
The purpose of this workshop is to present best techniques for managing security, setup and configuration of different webMethods Suite components. During the workshop attendees can learn from presented examples what is necessary to install different modules, manage user accounts and privileges, setup high availability environment, work with DMZ. Additionally the participants learn monitoring best practices on different components.
Business Process Management and Composite Application Framework Workshop presents based on real-life exercises how to define, manage and run webMethods based processes. During the Workshop attendees will learn and practise process modelling, deployment and analysis. Second part of the lab will be dedicated to the GUI development using CAF tools. Best practices, common challenges and most popular controls will be presented and used in the exercises.
The Workshop demonstrates how webMethods platform can be used to model and analyze Business Processes, monitor existing ones and search for improvement possibilities. Attendees will also work on exercises presenting Real Time Business Monitoring and define Actions in case of different Business Events.

During the 3 days of Workshop Attendees will work on real life challenges connected with trading data exchange such as Purchase Orders, Invoices, Dispatch Documents, etc. Exercises demonstrate such areas as: Partner Management, Document Definition, Processing Rules Management.
The workshop introduces advanced integration techniques based on the Software AG webMethods platform. The material presents best practices in using the platform to create integration interfaces and presents advanced use case scenarios employing particular platform modules. Introduction to ARIS platform business level management and configuration – preparing the platform for the end-user (modeller). Exercises are performed on real-life installation of ARIS Platform using ARIS Architect licenses. Participants learn how to configure ARIS server, manage databases, manage users and user rights, manage objects and models within the object catalog structures. Scope of the workshop includes also creating method filters and graphic templates of presented models.
This workshop provides introduction to designing models using ARIS Platform, including Enterprise Architecture models, Business Process models and designing enterprises organizational structures. Exercises are performed on real-life installation of ARIS Platform using ARIS Designer licenses. Participants will learn how to prepare their workstations and get a hold of good practices, which will help them perform their day-to-day tasks on ARIS Platform.
